We had Security-Luebke Roofing come to our home and give us an estimate that included replacing the gutters and upgrading to 3x4 inch down spouts. The new gutters were installed, the colors matched our house. A week later the Gutter Toopers were installed. Excellent work, I couldn't have had better service.

Frequently asked questions
What are the signs that my gutters need attention?
The most common signs are water spilling over the edge during rain, gutters pulling away from the fascia, sagging sections, rust or visible cracks, and water staining on your siding or foundation. If you're noticing any of these, it's worth having someone take a look before the damage spreads to your home's structure.
When should I consider new gutters instead of a repair?
In most cases, new gutters are the better long-term investment — especially if your current system is sectional, more than 20 years old, or has multiple failing points. That said, there are situations where a targeted repair is the right call. Our team will give you an honest assessment either way.
How is Gutter Topper different from other gutter guard products?
Most gutter screens eventually clog and require more maintenance than having no protection at all. Systems with the nose set back from the front edge of the gutter will also collect debris right where water needs to flow. Gutter Topper's nose-forward design sheds debris off the front, maintains full water-carrying capacity, and is continuously fastened to the gutter — not just every 24" like Gutter Helmet. It's also installed by factory-trained professionals who know how to integrate it with your roofline without voiding your shingle warranty.
Will I ever have to clean my gutters again after Gutter Topper is installed?
Gutter Topper dramatically reduces how often you need to deal with your gutters. For best performance, we recommend semi-annual to annual maintenance — particularly in areas with heavy tree coverage. But the days of climbing a ladder to scoop out soggy leaves are over.
Do I have ice buildup in my gutters? Should I be worried?
Some ice in gutters is normal in Wisconsin winters. What you should watch for is gutters that are visibly sagging under the weight, dripping from your soffit, or any moisture showing up inside your home. Those are signs of a bigger problem — usually an ice dam situation that also involves your roof and attic insulation.
What downspout size do you recommend?
The old industry standard was 2" x 3", but 3" x 4" has become the current standard for new construction and remodels. Larger downspouts move water faster and are less prone to clogging. For homes with large roof surfaces or areas with heavy rainfall, we may also recommend additional downspouts to keep up with the volume.
Should I replace my gutters and roof at the same time?
Doing both at once is often the most efficient approach. It lets our crew properly integrate the gutters with your new drip edge and roofline, and you avoid having a new roof installed over old, failing gutters that will need to be replaced soon anyway. If you're also replacing siding, all three together gives you a fully waterproofed exterior with no gaps in the moisture barrier.
